Our tutors combine professional performing arts experience with a passion for education – bringing creativity, skill and industry knowledge to every class, from early years to high school.
All of our teaching team have undergone an Enhanced Clearance through the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service), have completed the latest Safeguarding training, and there’s always a qualified First Aider on site. The safeguarding lead for Echo Performing Arts Academy is Lisa Campbell.

Founder & Principal – Lisa Campbell

About: With over 18 years’ teaching experience, Lisa brings a wealth of expertise in contemporary dance, street dance and musical theatre. She holds a BA (Hons) in Dance and is a qualified teacher, passionate about creating opportunities for young people to grow in confidence and creativity.
Creative Journey: Lisa began teaching at 17, later completing her degree in Dance and then a teaching qualification. Over 13 years in education, she has taught students from Primary School through to GCSE and A Level Dance, winning awards for her teaching and progressing to Head of Performing Arts in a secondary school. Beyond the classroom, Lisa has worked with young actors and extras in TV and film and continues to champion performing arts as a safeguarding governor at a local primary school.
Fun Fact: She once had a very embarrassing phone call with Harry Styles when he was on tour – and totally forgot to mention she was a fan!

Verity Partington
Academy Manager – Prestbury & Macclesfield | Dance Teacher | Social Media Executive

- About: Verity is a graduate of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where she achieved a BA (Hons) in Dance. Alongside performing professionally, she has been teaching and choreographing for children and young people for many years, helping students build confidence, develop strong technique and discover a love for movement.
- Creative Journey: Verity brings a wealth of professional performance and choreography experience to Echo. Her credits include performing at the Eurovision Song Contest and as part of a UK Touring Theatre production, alongside choreographing school productions, youth pantomimes and dance showcases across Cheshire. At Echo, she teaches Contemporary Dance, Street Dance and Acro, creating energetic, inclusive classes where every child feels encouraged to give things a go and have fun.
- Favourite musical or west-end show: Kinky Boots: “I love that it’s based on a true story and celebrates individuality, acceptance and family. It reminds us that being yourself is always something to be proud of.”
- Fun Fact: As a child, Verity represented England at the Dance World Cup, performing in Romania, Jersey and Germany.
Alice Schofield
Academy Manager – Cheadle Hulme | Drama Teacher

- About: Alice is a professionally trained actor and drama teacher who graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Acting from the Guildford School of Acting. Having also trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and the National Youth Music Theatre, Alice is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where children can grow in confidence, explore their creativity and find joy in performing.
- Creative Journey: Alice brings a wealth of professional experience to Echo, with theatre credits including The Full Monty UK Tour, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, James Wakes Up and a range of contemporary and classical productions. Her screen work includes appearances in Coronation Street, independent films and television commercials. Alongside her professional career, Alice loves inspiring the next generation of performers, helping every child develop their skills, confidence and love of drama.

To Kill a Mockingbird “It’s heartbreakingly beautiful. The story reminds us about courage, kindness and standing up for what’s right — values that are just as important on stage as they are in everyday life.” - Fun Fact: As a teenager, Alice once spent £400 texting 118 118 to receive jokes during her Physics lessons because she was bored. She’s still paying her parents back now!
Samantha Martin
Echo Casting Director | Dance Teacher

- About: Sam has been dancing since childhood and knew from an early age that performing would be her career. A graduate of the Arden School of Theatre with a BA (Hons) in Dance & Performance, Sam combines her professional industry experience with a passion for helping young people build confidence, develop their skills and discover exciting opportunities both on and off the stage.
- Creative Journey: Sam trained at the Arden School of Theatre and has continued to develop her craft through professional training with House of Jazz London. Sam has a diploma in commercial dance, gaining a scholarship to train and perform in LA in 2024.
Her career has taken her across television, film, theatre and live entertainment, including touring prestigious ATG theatres across the UK, performing aboard Saga Cruises and P&O Cruises, and appearing in productions for Netflix (Get Even) and ITV (Timewasters). Alongside performing, Sam leads Echo Casting, supporting young performers as they pursue opportunities in television, film and commercial work. - Favourite musical or west-end show:
Chicago & Moulin Rouge! “I could never choose just one! I love the energy, storytelling and iconic choreography of both shows — and one day, I fully intend to perform in them myself.” - Fun Fact: Sam can move just one eyeball independently (a very impressive party trick!) 🫣. And her three-times great-grandfather invented Vaseline — proof that creativity and big ideas run in the family!
Amber Grace Jackson
Drama Teacher
DBS‑checked · Safeguarding‑trained · First Aider
Amber Grace Jackson is an enthusiastic, born and bred northern actress. She recently graduated from the Arts University of Bournemouth with a first class degree in Acting.
Since graduating she has been lucky enough to perform in a variety of professional productions for both the stage and screen. Amber is thrilled to be joining the Echo team and can’t wait for what 2027 has to offer!
Creative Journey:
Amber is also a playwright, she is in the early development of her debut-play which she hopes to take to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in next few years.

Mamma Mia – “I am the biggest ABBA fan ever and love the music so much!!”
Fun Fact:
At the start of 2026, Amber went backpacking around South-East Asia, her highlight was seeing rescued elephants in an elephant sanctuary and swimming with a baby shark.
Teaching Associates
To build confidence and spark imagination, it is important that our students experience a broad range of different teaching styles and talent from across the performing arts industry.
Which is why our Thursday and Saturday main academy team also includes students who have a huge amount of singing, dancing and acting experience and plenty of energy. Our future leaders bring fresh ideas and training to our Echoes – and often know the latest trending dance moves and songs to get even the shyest youngsters on the floor.
From time-to-time, we also bring in associate artists to provide bespoke workshops and technique classes such as on-screen acting or dance for a music video. This includes casting director, Lee Mountjoy, and Nicci Topping. They help us to build skills, nurture talent and support our students.
