Echo Performing Arts Academy has arrived in Cheadle Hulme – and we can’t wait to meet you.
Our new Saturday Main Academy is now open at the Seashell Trust Royal School, Cheadle Hulme – and it’s everything you’d expect from Cheshire’s award-winning children’s performing arts school.
Echo opened its doors here in September 2026, bringing our signature Saturday morning sessions to families across Cheadle Hulme, Bramhall, Handforth and beyond. We will be growing our timetable over the next few months – so if you don’t see the perfect class just yet, it won’t be long.

At Echo, we do things differently. No auditions. No grading. No pressure. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, high-energy environment where children aged 4–16 can explore the performing arts, make brilliant friends and discover what they’re truly capable of.
Every session is delivered by our established Echo team – the same experienced, DBS-checked teachers who have helped hundreds of children across Cheshire grow in confidence and shine on stage.
Whether your child has never set foot on a stage or is already a seasoned performer, there’s a place for them here. We encourage imaginative play, creative storytelling and you don’t need a love of performing to join in. Just a willingness to try, because at Echo, everyone is welcome.

🎭 Choose Your Class:
Echo Stars
- Age Group: Ages 3.5-5 (Early years/ Reception)
- Time: 9:00am – 10:00am (Every Saturday)
- What it entails: Our Echo Stars session is a vibrant, fun-filled introduction to the world of performing arts. The children will explore a mix of drama, dance, singing and imaginative play. It’s the perfect environment for younger children to burn off some weekend energy, make new friends, and build early stage confidence without any pressure!
Main Academy
- Age Group: Ages 6–11 (Key Stage 1 & 2)
- Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm (Every Saturday, term time only)
- What it entails: Our Main Academy steps things up for our older students. This dynamic three-hour session focuses on expanding their skills in musical theatre, contemporary dance, script work, and vocal technique. Guided by our industry-professional coaches, students will dive deeper into character development and staging, working towards exciting performances while building strong teamwork skills and lifelong friendships.
- Performance opportunities include a whole cast musical, Christmas performances and our Summer Showcase.

- Drop-off/Parking: There is ample parking available on-site for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. Our friendly Echo staff will be waiting at the entrance to greet you and guide the children to their studios.
🎒 What to wear & bring:
- Clothing: Comfortable clothes your child can easily move and dance in (leggings/joggers), trainers or jazz shoes (no sandles or lose shoes) and our echo t-shirt’s are ideal.
- Hydration: Please send your child with a named, refillable water bottle and a snack (not containing nuts).

Seashell Centre Academy Pricing
Echo Stars:
Our Echo Stars classes are £7 per Saturday morning class and will be collected via a monthly direct debit membership fee.
Main Academy:
The main academy is a 3 hour class charged at £25.50 per Saturday morning class and will be collected via a monthly direct debit membership fee.
How Payment Works: Membership fees are calculated across 37 weeks of the school year and conveniently spread into 10 equal monthly Direct Debit payments.
- Echo Stars monthly direct debit: £25.90 per month
- Main academy monthly direct debit: £94.35 per month
Available Discounts
- 👯 Sibling Discount: 15% off for each additional sibling.
- 🎭 Multi-Class Discount: 10% off your total fee if your child attends two or more additional Echo classes.
