Industry Arts is a 5/6 week programme every half term that will focus on different areas of the Performing Arts Industry. It includes both an acting and dance pathway in order to allow students to progress further in their preferred skill. During each half term, there will also be a special guest session that will be run by an industry professional.
Activities will include on-screen acting, dance for a music video and monologue devising alongside technique sessions. Each half term we will focus on a different area of the industry, for example Musical Theatre.
The sessions will run as follows:
11:45 – 12:00: Arrival and Warm Up
12:00 – 12:45: Acting/Dance Session (dependent on chosen pathway) 12:45 – 1:45: Group Industry Session
The programme will give students the opportunity to become more confident in themselves and their abilities, as well as meet new people and make new friends. They will also have plenty of opportunities to show off their new and improved skills!
These classes are perfect for any students who want to continue extra-curricular performing arts during high school in a fun and happy environment!
