We are really excited to announce that our next musical is going to Beauty and the Beast Jr.
This webpage will keep all the information you need for the show and the lead up to the event.
The show dates are the 29th March 2025 for our Saturday Main Academy and Sunday 30th March 2025 for our Thursday Main Academy.

Characters in the show
Musical Numbers We have to perform all the songs on this sheet. Rather than giving solos for all of these songs we are going to try and get the academy to learn most of the songs.
Cast Contract This contract is set by MTI who owns the rights to this show. I think its a great idea that all the children know how important the rehearsals are. Creating a show in the short time we have it is vital that everyone is present.
Tracks for the children to rehearse at home the junior versions are what we will be using.
Audition material:
The children do not need to learn the lines but if they have time read through the scripts as it will help for their auditions. We will have printed out versions of these scripts at the classes the children can use these. We do not want the children to worry about this. It’s going to be a relaxed process and given opportunities to explore the different characters within the scripts. They will tell us which characters they would like to be but they may audition in groups and be any character given. The idea of looking over them and knowing what happens in the scene is good. The children have had chance to look through these scripts already and have a couple of weeks to do this in class as well.
Group Two and One Small Monologues
For group one, children in years 1 and 2, will still get an opportunity to share their monologues with the classes. They will still have characters within the show and perform in all the songs and dances. Unfortunately we can’t give group ones any main roles. The main reasons are for legal performance timings limits and also the version we are performing is a Junior and not a Kids script. Therefore it’s a difficult script and will be very challenging for the children. It will be an absolutely fantastic opportunity to take part in the show, they will enjoy the experience. We really appreciate your support and understanding with this.
We will upload the dance/ singing numbers on this site as well so the children can rehearsal at home.
After last years show the one bit of feedback, the children need to know the order of the story and the order of scenes/ dances. I would really appreciate any support with all the children knowing what is happening next. No matter their role, they all are in the show and all need to know.
Venue:
The venue for our performance is the Evans Theatre, Wilmslow Leisure Centre.
Sub Payments:
There will be a £20 Sub Payments for this show. The outgoings for the show is probably more than ever expecting, the rights for the show, they also claim 16% of all ticket sales, costumes, venue hire, back drop, microphones and set/ props. So the sub payments are a massive help. Thank you so much everyone for your support.
